Dubrovnik Festiwine 3rd Annual 2016 - Adventures CroatiaDubrovnik Festiwine - April 25, 2016 to May 1, 2016

The 3rd regional wine festival Dubrovnik Festiwine is scheduled to take place 25/04 – 01/05, 2016 in Dubrovnik. It is founded and organized by the Dubrovnik Neretva County and the County Development Agency DUNEA with support of the Dubrovnik PartneR agency. As a part of this year's Dubrovnik FestiWine Festival, visitors will have an opportunity to taste fine wines and be a part of numerous wine workshops together with wine experts and sommeliers. The main event of the Festival is the wine exhibition that many wine enthusiasts look forward to. It will take place at the newly renovated historical site Lazareti. Prior to the Festival's wine exhibition, a number of interesting events will take place, such as 'Dubrovnik wine trophy' wine evaluation, 'Festiwine gala' with renowned chefs and wine producers, many workshops and other stylish events. Join us in Dubrovnik from 25 April to 1 May, 2016.

iThe Zagreb Summer Evening Festival is one of the best music festivals in Europe, takes place in June and July. National and international ensembles and groups come together during this gala celebration to perform classic music, jazz, blues and world tunes.

The Garden Festival - TisnoElectric Elephant Festival - July 7 - 11, 2016

Following right after the Garden Festival, this five-day- five-night, festival held in July attracts younger crowds and is a perfect combination of day-time seaside fun and night time busy concert and dancing agenda with trendy DJs. The party comes alive as the sun goes down with more crowds, more music and more fun. More than just a festival, Electric Elephant offers a sublimely diverse range of sounds across the electronic spectrum. Set near the idyllic town of Tisno, it is a celebration of amazing music and the glorious sun, an intimate paean to dancing the night away under a starlit sky until dawn with like-minded souls from around the world. The music programme has become a critically acclaimed highlight of the festival calendar, blending House, Disco and Electronica into one infectious mix that evokes the original party spirit of Balearic culture.

Truffle Days - Istria - Adventures CroatiaTruffle Days - September 20, 2016 - November 1, 2016

Usually, the month of October marks the season of white truffles, a delicious culinary delicacy that belongs to the family of mushrooms, which is often referred to as ‘the diamond of a kitchen’. Thanks to their earthy aroma and delicate taste that have turned even the simplest dish into supreme satisfaction for the palate.

During autumn, Istria celebrates the truffle with a number of festivities where the guests that come from the whole region can enjoy typical truffle dishes like fuzi, pljukanci, gnocchi, fritada and various meat combinations.  Zigante Truffle Days in Livade take place every weekend in October, and features white truffle exhibitions, various cooking shows with international chefs, wine and truffle tastings, as well as workshops and truffle seeking demonstrations. Truffle Weekend, an exhibition and fair of truffles and homemade autochthonous products, will take place in Buzet from November 2nd  to the 3rd, while the famed Teran and truffle festival IV. Te Ta (exhibition of the Istrian wine Teran, truffles and the election of the biggest truffle) will take place in Motovun on November 9th.
These are just some of the many festivals taking place this year but depending on your route and interests we’ll find an event for your taste – culinary, wine, musical or sports event.
